Rudy D. Laue, age 73, of Richland Center died Sunday, August 04, 2013 after a brief illness with Pancreatic Cancer at the VA Hospital in Madison. He was born November 21, 1939 in Richland County the son of George and Myra (Roudebush) Laue. On August 13, 1960 he married Bonnie D. Kovars at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. Rudy worked for the Observer, Double Cola, Pulvermachers, co-owners of the Richland Roller Rink with the Clarson family and 28 years at the Richland Center Post Office. He enjoyed trapshooting with his friends Brad Bethke and Ray Marshall. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren at sporting events at both Richland Center and Ithaca.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Laue of Richland Center; 4 children, Beth (Roger) Gander of Richland Center, Mark (Jenny) Laue of Ithaca, Chris (Bev) Laue of Richland Center, Sarah (Greg) Olson of Ithaca; 10 grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy and Andrew Gander, Jessica, Valerie and Josie Laue, Mikayla and Annaliese Laue, Caleb and Aubrey Olson; two sisters, Eloise "Skip" Miller of Richland Center, Joan (Kent) Brandt of Twin Cities, Minnesota; a half-sister, Jeanne Roe of Shawano, WI; other relatives and friends.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; his aunt and uncle who raised him, Anna (Lester) Perkins; brothers, John and Dick Laue.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Anderson officiating. Burial will be held at the Richland Center Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to a scholarship in memory of Rudy. On line condolences can be made at
