Larry Allen Zautke, age 69, passed away surrounded by his family on April 19, 2015 at the Richland Center Hospital. He was born on December 28, 1945 to Allen and Dorothy (Schmidt) Zautke. Larry was a very talented carpenter who loved a challenging project. He found joy in tackling carpentry projects that others wouldn't attempt and teaching his many skills to his children. In addition to carpentry, he enjoyed gardening, shooting pool, traveling, card games, puzzles, whittling, classic cars and history. Survivors include his 6 children: Gary Zautke, of Baraboo; Rebecca Cone and special friend Greg, of Reedsburg; Shane (Lisa) Zautke, of Rock Springs; Tanya (Alan) Pyfferoen, of Cazenovia; Wendy (Neil) Crary, of Hillpoint and Kim (Jeremy) Backeberg, of Loganville; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; mother, Dorothy; siblings: Linda McWane, LaVonne Zautke, Steven (Judy) Zautke and Gene Zautke (special friend Vicky); nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Donna; infant son; father, Allen and niece, Tiffany. A celebration of life will be held at the Rock Spring's Community Center on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 1:00 to 5:00. On line condolences can be made at www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com
