Kenneth John Strait passed away on July 22, 2014 on the family farm after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. His two sons and his constant companion Jasmine the Cat were with him at the time of death. John was born on April 18, 1937. He was a proud Navy Veteran having served aboard the destroyer USS John w. Weeks. He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth John Strait Sr. and Marion (Nelson) Strait, his loving son and fellow Navy Veteran Todd (Victoria Strait-Munns) and twin daughters Tammy and Toni; a brother Richard C. Strait.

He is survived by sons Tim (Beth) Strait and Thomas Strait, grandchildren Samantha (Brad) Wilson, Elizabeth Strait, Arieanne Strait and Aidan Strait and great grandchildren Todd and Owen Wilson.
